Running is big in Eugene. Steve Prefontaine and Nike founder Phil Knight both cut their mustard here, and today Eugene is known as “Track Town USA.” So naturally, there are a lot of races going on.
Before you race your way into St. Patrick’s Day celebrations on Sunday, March 17, it might make sense to run off some of the calories you’re going to be accumulating. Lucky Clover is a 5k trail, 5k road, or 10k road/trail race, set amid the inspiring natural scenery of Doris Ranch Living History Farm in Eugene’s neighbor, Springfield.
Make sure to wear green, and head to Claim 52 Brewing Co. after the race for an especially invigorated St. Patrick’s Day celebration.
