UP North Loop: 2,600 Miles Through the Inland Northwest

There’s something about the Pacific Northwest, Eugene included, that draws intrepid outdoor adventurers of all stripes. Well, on the evening of April 9, two of the most intrepid adventurers around will be giving a special presentation at Wildcraft Ciderworks. The duo of Ras Vaughan and Kathy “OBAL Unbranded” Vaughan, AKA “Team Ultrapedestrian,” recently covered a 2,600 mile swath of the Pacific Northwest on foot, taking 174 days to do it.

We’re sure they’ll have stories to tell. Head to Wildcraft Ciderworks, grab a pint of cider, and gather around the (figurative) campfire to listen to Ras and Kathy tell the tale. Proceeds from the event support the Oregon National Desert Association. Visit their webpage for a map of their travels and a short summary.
